The Women’s Fund of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is accepting requests for funding that will support women and/or girls in Herkimer and Oneida Counties. Those eligible for funding consideration are applicants that are a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency as well as smaller non-profits that may not be required to have audited financials. Grant applications may range up to $20,000 per request. Information and application are available at grants@womensfundhoc.org.
The Women’s Fund supports local community organizations that empower women and inspire girls. The types of grants may include those that support women and girls with academic achievement, economic self-sufficiency, equity and social justice, physical and mental health as well as leadership development.
“It is our pleasure at the Women’s Fund to support not-for-profits in Oneida and Herkimer Counties that provide such necessary services to our communities,” commented Denise Cavanaugh, chairwoman of the Non-Profit Grants Committee. “Our organization has provided more than $496,000 in grant monies to local agencies for nearly three decades. We are so grateful to all our donors for supporting these important initiatives and helping us fund worthy programs for women and girls in our area.”
