The Women’s Fund of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is now accepting requests for funding that will assist women and/or girls in Herkimer and Oneida Counties. To be eligible for funding consideration, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. In an effort to serve even more women and girls in our community, we will now accept applications from smaller organizations that may not be required to have audited financials. Information and application are available at womensfundhoc.org.
The Women’s Fund supports local community programs whose mission empowers women and inspires girls and includes the promotion of leadership and self-esteem. Funding priorities for grant applicants should include creating opportunities for economic, educational and personal growth for women and girls as well as encouraging the advancement and participation of women and girls in the community.
“We are excited that we can continue to offer these grant opportunities in our communities,” noted Janet Richmond, president of The Women’s Fund. “Our organization celebrated 25 years of giving back in 2022 and has awarded more than $400,000 in non-profit grants. We are grateful to our donors for supporting our initiatives as we continue to fund worthy programs for women and girls throughout Oneida and Herkimer Counties.”
