The program is in response to feedback the organization has received through their Women Investing In Women (WIIW) initiative which began in 2022.

Date: Tuesday, June 17
Time: 5:00 – 6:30 PM
Location: Stride Coffee Roasters, 2 Campion Road, New Hartford
Cost: $10

*Seating is Limited*

Tina Pavlot, Vice President and Senior Branch Manager at M&T Bank, will lead this session focused on understanding financial statements, budgeting effectively, and pricing your products. In addition, representatives from Universal Bookkeeping, Loan Depot and the Small Business Development Center will be present to add to the discussion. The event will provide time to network with other women business owners.

This event is presented by the Women Investing in Women program through The Women’s Fund of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, Baird Private Wealth Management and  UpMobility Foundation.

For the past three years the Women’s Fund has provided $5,000 grants to women-owned businesses in our area,” noted Ellen Rainey, chairperson of the Women Investing In Women Committee. “To date we have had more than 150 women entrepreneurs apply for the grants. Their feedback about the needs they are experiencing in their businesses is what has helped drive this program. We hope this is just the beginning of many more workshops for the women in our area.”

The wind has already picked up at the farm and thunder and lightning are predicted. We want everyone to have a safe and fun experience, so we are rescheduling for:

Spring Creek Lavender Farm
8879 Trenton Falls Prospect Road in Remsen

Our apologies for having to reschedule, and we hope to see you next week. Thank you!
