Women Investing in Women grant winners have been selected!
Women Investing in Women was established in 2022 in honor of The Women's Fund 25th Anniversary. This grant program is focused on the pivotal role that women-owned businesses play in growing our region's economy while recognizing some of the unique challenges female entrepreneurs face.
The 2023 grant recipients are:
- Julie Whittemore, Keaton & Lloyd Bookshop, Rome
- Dr. Amanda Abdagic Montagna, Realm Chiropractic of Herkimer
- Dr. Joanna Robertson, The Treehouse Reading and Arts Center, New York Mills
- Linda Aloisio, Uniquely Yours, Utica
Each of these women received $5,000 checks at a reception on November 15, 2023 at Griffiss Institute in Rome. Along with Griffiss Institute, Baird Private Wealth Management partnered with The Women's Fund for this grant program. Together, we are proud to offer this funding to help take their businesses to the next level!
